Dear Bill and Kim,
With the death of my boys' Daddy, they really needed something to relieve their broken hearts. This camp was such a blessing for us as a family to be a part of. Just to see my boys laughing and smiling and meeting new friends was healing for me (and them). Thank you for allowing me to be a counselor and dorm mom. This was a time to turn my hurts into helping others. I received much more than I could have ever given. I know that the girls in my dorm had a fantastic time. Every child felt loved, special, important and protected for this short week. My boys and I are looking forward to attending in the summer of 2005. We thank God for your vision to touch children who have experienced and survived loss, trauma and illness.

My daughter attended camp this summer. She had a wonderful time and really looks forward to next year. Thank you so much for giving my daughter such a great and memorable experience after such a hard school year. Just to let you know, I cried and cried the day we attended the ending rally. It was wonderful to see her receive an award from her cabin and just to see her dancing, laughing and not worrying about her mother being ill. Also, the camp experience for her has helped me heal so much knowing she had a wonderful time at camp. It did help her mature and understand she is not the only child experiencing things in her life.

We want kid’s camp to be all summer long, not just a week. Cuz it’s better than Disney World! Champions Kids Camp was the greatest! It was awesome! I can’t wait until next year! I’m going to take lessons to become that guitar player for next year! KEEP IN TOUCH.

Champions Kids Camp is a unique experience for boys and girls. This camp has the ability to help build character, high moral standards, self worth and general acceptance. True love for children is exemplified and is the basis for all leaders. Activities of all kinds are provided to teach them how to play different sports, become participants and learn more about team spirit and unity. I highly recommend Champions Kids Camp and feel any child will profit from attending.

My brother and I really liked camp. It was the best we have ever been to. My favorite things to do were swimming, Go-carts and the Zip line. Thank you for being so nice to all of us. I really want to go again. Maybe I could be a counselor one day. Thank you.

As a volunteer who has been involved with Champions Kids Camp for the past three years, I can tell you that this camp is incredible. At camp there is so much for the kids to do and they all have such an awesome time. I wouldn’t miss it for the world. I’m looking forward to next year!

Being a counselor at Champions Kids Camp is truly a life changing experience. I’ve been humbled by having the privilege of working with these special children. There is nothing quite like the feeling I get knowing I’ve helped put a smile on a child’s face and made his or her day a little brighter.
