Mission Statement
Champions Kids Camp is dedicated to the nurturing of children who have survived a traumatic injury, illness or personal loss.
The Vision
Emotional healing through a week-long camp consisting of music, art, sports and recreation that will provide:

Activities that raise the children’s level of confidence.

Enhanced self-esteem through peer and counselor support.

The opportunity for siblings or a best friend to attend with each camper.

A positive curriculum that reinforces the art of kindness, personal responsibility and the value of respecting each other.
Objectives

To instill a sense of pride in every child for being a survivor, not a victim. To bring to their attention that they are all over-comers and CHAMPIONS in life!

For each camper to experience a renewed sense of being a kid.

To create life-long relationships with each child and maintain contact with them after camp is over.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, our granters and contributors may rely on their ruling on Nov.22nd 2002 which states all contributions made to CKC will be considered deductible as provided in section 170 of the Internal Revenue Code.
In addition, CKC has been determined by the I.R.S. to be exempt from federal income tax.
Champions Kids Camp was created solely for the purpose of enriching the lives of children who have survived trauma in their lives.
