Bears That Care.jpg

Each bear can be purchased for minimum donation of $50 to $100. Your donation will go toward sending a child, who is a survivor to Champions Kids Camp. The bear will be placed into the arms of a child fighting to survive in Texas Children’s Hospital.

Each bear comes with a card with your name (or the name of your choosing), so each child will know who sent it.

Under the “Note From Donor” section, let us know what name you would like on the card.

Our Mission: To nurture children who have survived a traumatic injury, illness, or personal loss, such as the loss of a parent or sibling.

Champions Kids Camp was founded in 2001 by Singer/Songwriters, Bill & Kim Nash, in honor of their oldest son, Billy, who survived childhood Leukemia.  Through a week-long camp, children between the ages of 8 and 12 are able to heal from the “emotional scarring” they have experienced in their young lives.

Over the years, CKC has helped thousands of children to move past their trauma, which gives them improved self-esteem & social skills, reduced fear and anxiety, higher grades in school, and the tools to become a productive part of our community.

The main objective at camp is to help instill a sense of pride in every child and let them know that they’re not victims, they’re survivors, and therefore, Champions!

Champions Kids Camp is a non-profit organization that was created in the summer of 2001. 501(c)(3) #05-0541975

"Champions Kids Camp lets these special “survivors” just be kids! For a week…they get to forget about how tough their battles have been. For a week magic happens through the music they make! And when the week is over the magic doesn’t end!"
